SYMPTOMS
Signs your foam roof needs service
Foam roofs are low-maintenance, but they do not maintain themselves. These are the signs that your foam coating or substrate needs attention.
- Visible bubbles, blisters, or soft spots on the foam surface
- Topcoat wearing thin or showing the foam layer underneath
- Ponding water that does not drain within 48 hours after rain
- Cracks or splits in the elastomeric coating
- Dark spots or discoloration across the foam surface
- Flashing separating where the foam meets walls or curbs
- Higher cooling bills despite no change in HVAC settings
- Bird pecking damage creating small holes in the foam

If any of these sound familiar, We can usually diagnose in one visit.
WHY CHOOSE US
Why Care Roofing Inc for Foam Roofing
Low-Slope Specialists
We specialize in low-slope and flat roof systems. Foam is one of our core services, not a sideline.
Seamless Coverage
Spray foam creates a monolithic barrier with no seams, joints, or fastener penetrations. Fewer failure points than any other flat roof system.
Energy Savings
Foam insulates and reflects solar heat simultaneously. In a valley where summer AC runs nonstop, that dual function reduces cooling costs.
Recoat Without Tear-Off
When a foam roof's topcoat wears down, we can recoat it without removing the existing system. That saves time, cost, and landfill waste.

FOAM ROOFING SERVICES
Foam roofing services we offer in the Coachella Valley
Foam Roof Installation
Full spray polyurethane foam (SPF) system installed on flat and low-slope structures. Includes surface preparation, foam application, and UV-resistant elastomeric topcoat.
Foam Roof Repair
Punctures, blisters, and coating failures repaired to restore waterproof integrity. Localized repairs are fast and cost-effective compared to full re-roofing.
Foam Roof Recoat
When the elastomeric topcoat wears thin from years of UV exposure but the foam underneath is still sound, we clean and recoat the entire surface. This extends the system life by 10 to 15 years.
Foam Roof Inspection
Annual inspection of foam thickness, topcoat condition, drainage patterns, and flashing. We document findings with photos and provide a written maintenance report.
Commercial Foam Roofing
SPF systems for commercial buildings, retail spaces, and warehouses across the valley. Foam is one of the most energy-efficient options for large flat roof structures.
Foam Roof Drainage Correction
Ponding water is the most common issue on flat foam roofs. We build up low spots with additional foam to create positive drainage and eliminate standing water.

Great company, excellent service, and high-quality results. Care Roofing Inc. is dependable, professional, and reasonably priced. Couldn’t ask for a better roofing team in the desert!Posted on Google theodore zwickerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Care Roofing is the best. They came when they promised and the roof has been leak free.Posted on Google Mac CTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. CARE ROOFING did a great job on our S shaped Spanish Tile roof. Rene did a great job of explaining the issues he found with our roof and why the leaks were where they were and how to fix them. They found the sky lights were installed incorrectly and they replaced them and made new bases for them to perfectly fit. We also had them wrap the eaves with metal that matched the house's trim color. They added flashing by the fire place and used matching paint for all the vent pipes which made the whole roof look so clean. They went beyond the bid by adding the skylights, the fireplace flashing and coming back and addressed a few little touches that made everything beautiful and solid.Posted on Google Kathy CarrilloTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Five-star service! From fast emergency patching in several places, to patience with our frustrating insurance company, to the final replacements, Care Roofing was exceptional! Great communication, professional and respectful workers, and fair estimates. I would recommend Care Roofing to anybody in need of repairs or a complete new roof!Posted on Google Melissa ToyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just had my roof replaced and I used Care Roofing. They did a fantastic job. The crew was very professional and I am very pleased with the company. Thank you!Posted on Google John Porter SimonsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The roof on my old 1950s cabin might well have been original, and it was leaking. Had it stripped down for a layer of spray foam. Turns out the sheathing was beyond on saving, so Rene suggested a house siding placed face down with spray foam on top. Turned out great. The roof itself is an even continuous surface now and the exposed raw wood between the beams adds some warmth.Posted on Google Thomas KaiserTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very professional and friendly crew - Finished the roof quicker than expected- Would highly recommend.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. FAQ
Common questions about foam roofing
Cost depends on roof size, existing condition, foam thickness required, and the topcoat system. Foam is often more affordable than tile for flat and low-slope roofs, and the energy savings offset the investment over time. We provide a free written estimate with a full breakdown.
Most residential foam roofs take two to four days. Commercial projects vary by square footage. Weather plays a role since foam application requires dry conditions and moderate wind.
With proper maintenance and periodic recoating every 10 to 15 years, a foam roof can last 30 years or longer. The foam itself does not degrade, but the elastomeric topcoat that protects it from UV does wear down over time and needs renewal.
Yes. Care Roofing Inc pulls all required permits and meets the inspector on site. Permit costs are included in your quoted price.
Yes. California Contractor License #1093293 with full liability and workers’ compensation coverage.
In many cases, yes. Foam can be applied over existing built-up, modified bitumen, metal, and even old foam roofs after proper surface preparation. This saves the cost and mess of a full tear-off. We will tell you if your existing roof qualifies.
Yes. Foam insulates and reflects solar heat at the same time. In the Coachella Valley, where summer highs regularly exceed 107 degrees, that dual function can noticeably reduce cooling costs. The white elastomeric topcoat reflects UV radiation instead of absorbing it.
When the UV-protective topcoat wears thin but the foam underneath is still in good condition, we clean the surface and apply a new elastomeric coating. This restores waterproof protection and UV resistance without removing the existing system. Recoating is significantly less expensive than replacement.
Foam is most commonly installed on flat and low-slope roofs, but it can also be applied to moderately pitched roofs. The seamless application adapts to irregular shapes and penetrations better than sheet-based systems.
The foam itself rarely fails. The most common issues are topcoat wear from UV exposure, bird pecking (common in the desert), and physical punctures from foot traffic or falling debris. All of these are repairable without replacing the entire system.
